Savages (2012)

Savages an upcoming 2012 Thriller, Adaptation and distributed by Universal Pictures, directed by Oliver Stone. Under the leadership of Elena Sanchez, a.k.a Elena La Reina, and Miguel, a.k.a. Lado, a Mexican drug cartel, formally called the Baja Cartel, kidnap Ophelia, the girlfriend of marijuana growers Ben, a University of California, Berkeley graduate, and Chon, a former U.S. Navy SEAL. Ben and Chon must now confront the group formerly known as the Baja Cartel in order to rescue her.Ben and Chon--with the reluctant, slippery assistance of a dirty DEA agent--wage a seemingly unwinnable war against the cartel. And so begins a series of increasingly vicious ploys and maneuvers in a high stakes, savage battle of wills.
